Riley is a striking mare that really
commands attention in the show ring. Her
sorrel coat dapples in the summer which
looks good with her four even socks.
Thanks to good breeding she is very
flashy. She has been to Quarter Horse
World in showmanship and has earned
points in Western Horsemanship. She is
fully Parelli trained in all seven
games. Years of showing have made her a
seasoned show horse and she is only
twelve. She clips, loads in any trailer,
and bathes. I started her in English
this summer and she is already
exhibiting the qualities of a true
champion in that field. Riley has the
desired slow trot and lope that is
perfect for western pleasure. Good
conformation contributes to doing well
in halter classes. Riley is best shown
in a ported grazing bit. With this bit
she is very responsive and softens well.
She is wonderful around people of any
age with a calm and quiet disposition.
In 4-H and open shows she has done very
well and is very competitive in the last
year. College is starting soon and I
won't have time to ride and show her. I
would much rather see her in a good home
than standing in a pasture
