Peanut is very cute, copper-red gelding
and double-registered AQHA/APHA with
championship bloodlines! He had years of
reining training and is a working
cow/cutting/penning prospect. Extremely
easy keeper that is very calm with the
farrier and loads, bathes and clips
well. Currently used for occassional
recreational riding and was used as a
lesson horse a couple of years ago.
Does well on trails (crosses water,
ravines, bridges) though needs more
trail miles. He is happy with a paddock
shelter, pasture and grass hay and goes
shod or barefoot. Peanut is an energetic
and friendly guy with a soft eye and
excellent grounds manners. This sweet
gelding is looking for an
intermediate/advanced rider with
confidence who has the time to work him
a few days a week and wants a best
friend! With a tune-up he'd be great for
non-pro reining competition. I've
switched to riding gaited horses to save
my old kneees and this great QH is just
going to waste. Peanut is completely
sound and up to date on all shots,
worming, shoes and teeth. Great reiner
prospect for a really great price!
