Encore is a eye catching grey filly that
has good potential for either dressage
or hunter/jumper. She is the second born
of two perfectly healthy twins out of a
first premium Canadian Warmblood mare
Ajawaan (Hanoverian lines - Arkansas x
Avril Bay - Abrupt), who scored highly
on jumping form, conformation, gaits and
temperament on her mare test and
inspection (8.17) in 1999. Aj was
starting to school third level dressage
until a unfortunate slip on the ice
ended her dressage career. Encore is by
Alvesta Picasso, a Welsh stallion who
sires extremely successful hunter/jumper
ponies with excellent temperaments.
Encore is more of the Welsh type
than Hanoverian and has excellent
conformation. She has had regular
worming, farrier and veterinary care
since birth and is used to being kept
indoors on occasion. She is
approximately 12.3 HH at 16 months old.
Encore is registered Canadian Half
Welsh.
Update - Encore went to
the Wild Rose Welsh show in Olds and
placed 4th in Sport Pony class and 4th
in the Half-Welsh futurity. Both her and
her twin sister handled the show and
trailering with ease!
