We are selling our 15.3h, 9 year old
grey appendix gelding. He is not
registered.
He has been a
full-time ranch horse and a racetrack
pony horse. For the past 3 years, he
has been used as a part-time ranch horse
and a trail horse. He is very mindful
of where he puts his feet, uses his
head, and does not spook easily.
While he is quiet and good
natured, he is probably not a good
choice for a very beginner given his
speed and athleticism. He would,
however, probably be fine for a
confident advanced beginner. He is very
athletic and could be taken in any
direction a person wanted to go. The
trainer that’s been riding him thinks he
would make a good hunter/jumper or
dressage prospect. He loves having a
job and he needs one.
He is a big
horse and can go all day without getting
tired. He is very friendly and outgoing
and has a great sense of humor. As a
result, he would not do well as an only
horse.
He ties, loads and
stands nicely for the farrier. His
vaccinations and Coggins were done in
March (negative) so he’s ready for
another year.
We are very
motivated to sell so will consider any
reasonable offer.
