La Balladar (Barn name Annie)
is a 15.3HH 7 year old Registered
(Jockey Club) Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare
with a Star. She has been compared to
and complimented with looking like
Dreamer and Ginger (From Black Beauty).
*As of May 2009 Annie has
started being used as a lesson horse.
She gives lessons to all ages and lately
has been teaching my upper lever 7 and 8
year old students to trot.*
Annie
is not your typical thoroughbred mare.
She looks and acts more like a quarter
mare. Annie is not hot or spooky. She
collects well and has a very cute head
set when asked. Annie is smooth and
doesn't rush you when being ridden. She
is great out on trail or in the arena.
Annie goes English and Western. She has
been shown in cross rails at a fun show
and could do much more (I don't show
much and I don't jump much but I know
her last owners did.) Annie is a great
mare ad has a ton of potential as she
has a great memory and is very willing
to please. Annie is great with/for the
farrier, vet, tying, bathing, clipping,
blanketing, saddling, etc. She is not a
hard keeper and looks fabulous in the
winter or summer. I do not think she has
been bred, however she seems like she
would be a great mom!
Annie is
a joy to work with. She would do best
with a knowledgeable beginner to an
advanced show life. She does need
someone patient and soft handed. Annie
is the first mare I have purchased and I
have found although she is amazing and
very sweet I have found I do better with
Geldings.
I am asking 2500 for
her sale or 100$ for a 1-2 day a week
lease per month.
