Smokey is a beautiful quarter horse
gelding. Currently ridden under saddle
by confident 8yr. old daughter, 10 yr.
old novice rider, and myself experienced
rider. He has a good personality. He is
smart, sweet, and loves going out on the
trail. He will make someone a great
trail horse or would be a great cow
prospect. He's been introduced to cows,
roped off of at a walk, and did well. He
is looking for a home where someone will
use him on a consistent basis and show
him lots of love and attention. He is a
horse that likes to have his mind
challenged. He is sure footed and
doesn't spook easily. He was ridden in
his first parade this summer,
participated in first playday and used
to rescue a 16.1 HH Friesian/Walker at
Silver Creek Falls. Ponied Friesian out
of the brush and back to camp after
horse was lost in wilderness overnight.
He hauls, clips, bathes, ties, does well
for farrier, and enjoys week long camp
