Lucy is an exceptionally well bred 1995
16'2 KWPN registered mare by the well
known stallion Farrington
(Wellington/Doruto). Farrington himself
was not able to be competed due to a
hind leg fracture as a young horse but
was awarded the Keur Predicate by the
KWPN in 2002. This is a high honor for
a stallion, indication he is a producer
of good performance horses.
Lucy
herself is a Keur mare having been
inspected in Holland with very good
scores. She was imported in 2002 and has
produced 4 outstanding foals, 2 with
fresh cooled semen and 2 by frozen.
Lucy is well started under
saddle but has only been sporadically
ridden due to her broodmare duties. She
is for sale as a broodmare or as a very
good candidate for the dressage or
jumper rings. She has done some jumping
and has been to some dressage
shows.
She conceives easily, is
sound and lovely to ride - forward and
light off of the leg yet - quiet and
sensible - no "issues" or
vices.
