Leita is a 2 1/2 year old red roan
filly. She was started this fall and has
had 30 days with a professional trainer
and since then has been ridden in arenas
(indoor and outdoor) as well as out on
trails. She is developing a solid walk,
trot, and canter. We are very impressed
with this filly and expect great things
from her. She has the eye catching color
and movement to put you in the ribbons
at shows, yet the temperment to go for a
pleasent hack or to the mountains. She
has been ridden in western and dressage
saddles, with loose rein and light
contact. She works very well off the
leg.
She is expected to mature
over 16HH. She is brave and bold and her
attitude would make her an excellent
eventer or jumper prospect. Her trainer
really liked her and thinks she could be
an excellent western mount as well.
Leita was recently in a dressage clinic
with Gord Dalshaug and she did very well
for a young horse. She has not been
asked to begin to collect due to her
age, but she naturally has very good
carriage and frame. She has good ground
manners, and loads easy on and off the
trailer.
Currently priced at
$4900 as a Christmas special, price will
go back up after Christmas. Do not miss
