Abednego is a
beautiful buttermilk buckskin titled BLM
mustang gelding. He's been in
domestication for about a year and a
half and has learned to do ground work,
handle feet, stand for the vet/farrier,
and carry a blanket and saddle. He ties
fine and will also stay in a stall
without a problem or load onto a
trailer. He's had his teeth floated
once and handled it with no problem.
Bedn is a wonderful young horse who is
very trusting and even-tempered, while
still maintaining the sensitivity
wonderful to mustangs. I have students
who regularly catch and groom him. He's
now ready to begin his actual saddle
training and, with a quiet-handed
person, should come along quite easily.
Least-resistance handling is all that
Bedn has known and his home should be
able to continue that or hire a trainer
who will do his saddle starting with
that methodology. He is truly an
amazing horse and will make a wonderful
partner. Finances and time constraint
are the only reasons this horse is being
offered for adoption through Herds of
