Five year old Haflinger
gelding, 14.3 hands. Magnut is
well-started under saddle and over
fences. He jumps 2’6” courses quietly
and has schooled the entire Novice
course at the Fox River Valley HT.
Magnut is sensitive and sensible at the
same time, making him the ideal type for
any English discipline. Once he knows
something he knows it forever, and even
though he is still somewhat green, if he
has a few days or a week off he is still
the same horse you put away the last
time you rode him. He is already
developing great self-carriage and
suppleness. We think he is well suited
to any discipline with the right
handling and guidance. His very first
show is shown on the DVD, the New York
Gold Classic Haflinger Show, where he
and his novice/intermediate level
teenage rider were 1st Place in the 4
and 5 year old geldings in hand,
Suitability for Dressage (Training
Level), and Youth Equitation, 2nd Place
in Hunter Hack, and 3rd Place in Junior
Horse English Pleasure, Youth English
Pleasure and Hunter over 2’. Just this
past weekend, he finished 2nd at the
Illinois Dressage and Combined Training
Mini-event Championships in the Beginner
Novice Division. Magnut is a totally
trusting soul who leaves himself
completely in your hands when you are
