We got Boone when he was 9 months old.
We were getting deeply into breeding and
felt his perlino color and double cream
gene would be a perfect fit to our
breeding program. We have come to the
conclusion, however, that he is going to
make such a great trail horse and he
loves being with the herd, that he will
be happier as a gelding. He is very
sweet tempered and follows us around in
the pasture like a little puppy dog. He
gets along great with all the other
horses including our Blue Roan stallion.
Both of his parents are over 16 hands,
so he will be a big guy when he is done
growing, probably bigger than the 16.1
hands we have listed. He just doesn't
seem to spook at anything. He loves
people attention. Right now, he is
growing like a wild weed. If you see
him, you will fall in love with him. He
is a big guy now and will be even
bigger. Boone has beautiful blue eyes.
