Avalanche is an eye-catching, truly
beautiful Haflinger with a presence that
demands your attention. Avalanche is
currently being used as a lesson horse
and is in training to get finished off.
he will make an awesome 4-H, youth or
family trail horse. he is so pleasant to
work with and is just very respectful
both on the ground and under saddle. He
is ridden in his lessons by a 60yr. old
timid rider who is taking lessons to
boost her confidence. he is just a doll
and very patient! He has a small cute
head with an intelligent quiet eye. He
has been ridden extensively on all day
trail rides in the Cuyahoga Valley
National Park and an over-night ride at
Salt Fork. He has shown in halter,
western pleasure and english pleasure at
the Ashland (oh) Haflinger show, the
Western Pa Haflinger show, and the
Haflinger Nationals in Indiana. He is
broke to drive and is traffic safe. He
baths, clips and trailers perfectly, has
no bad habits and one of my favorites-is
very clean in his stall! I would
strongly recommend him for children or
adults. It has been an enjoyable
experience owning him.
