Norman is broke to ride, but it has been
a while since he was ridden steady, so
will need a refresher course. His size,
at about 14 hands, would allow him to
work good for experienced children as
well as smaller adults.
His
movement is very hunter, and with some
work could be an wonderful youth hunter
pony. He does have a slower jog as well,
that does not extend quite as far, so he
has the potential to go both english and
western. For western he will need some
work on bringing his head down some
more. On the lungeline his canter
appears to be nice and level, but there
is still some work to do to get him
collected.
Norman would make a
great project pony for an experienced
teenager.
His pedigree is full of
point earners, World and National
Champions, and champion producing
horses. He has ApHC Hall of Famer
Prince Plaudit. ApHC World Champion
Tumbleweed Devil who was also the sire
of ApHC Hall of Famer Merry Weedo. POA
Supreme Champion Smokey Blackburn. AQHA
top racing sire Three Chicks.
