HOME. Dulzura is a lovely six year old
bay mare, small in size at 13.3 Hands
and big in personality. Her lineage goes
back to SALVAJE,(R0018), the 18th horse
registered in this country. She loves
attention and grooming (and treats, of
course). She has been under saddle since
August of 2007 but hasn't been ridden
often due to my health. She stands
still for mounting. On trail rides, she
likes to explore and is very sure-footed
while navigating obstacles and crossing
water willingly. She displays termino
and is so smooth to ride. She has been
ridden mostly in a hackamore and the new
bitless bridle and responds well in
either. She has also been in a snaffle
bit. Zura loads easily and travels
well.
Dulzura has had one foal
who is now 21/2 years...she is a
wonderful brood mare and produced an
exquisite filly. Zura is very healthy,
an easy keeper,and has tough unshod
hoofs. She gleams in the sun winter and
summer...so pretty. Her shots and
worming are up to date. She does much of
the Parelli/Anderson exercises and has
been taught to ground tie.
Zura
is for sale because I am no longer able
to ride much (Senior Citizen with
serious injuries from an accident) and
she deserves the best possible home with
a stall and pasture and with folks who
will love, care, give lots of attention,
and ride her a lot.
