Betsy is a very sweet
natured mare that just needs alot of
attention that we can no longer give
because of work/school. We have owned
her for over 6 years. She has been shown
in Western Pleasure before we bought her
and loves people of any age. She would
make a great ladies or kids horse. We
have taken her on the trail and she has
done great. She has beautiful
confirmation, and a very Quarter Horsey
head.
She would make a great
horse to learn to ride on, or to ride
trails, or just ride around. I am
currently teaching someone off of her
who has never been on a horse. She has
also gifted us with two beautiful colts,
one of which we still have as a stallion
that has won first place in his very
first halter classes. She's never had a
mean bone in her body towards people.
She takes her vaccinations and dewormer
with ease, loads in the trailer and
backs off, doesn't have a problem taking
the bit or being cinched, adores being
bathed and loved on, and can't get
enough of people petting and brushing on
her.
All of the horses we own are
great stock and come from wonderful
backgrounds, our only problem is we have
5 horses and only enough space for about
2 or 3. We would keep all of them if we
could, but we simply can't afford it any
longer.
