*NOTE* I have received a
lot of emails asking if Betsy can be
shown in Western Pleasure soon after
purchasing. No, she can not. She can be
entered in a walk/trot class, halter
class, or any show ring, but she is not
conditioned in Western Pleasure. Some
time spent being re-trained in it with
someone that trains Western Pleasure
would be great, but other than that,
Betsy is mainly a TRAIL HORSE!
Betsy
is a very sweet natured mare that needs
alot of attention and someone to love
her. She has been shown in Western
Pleasure and loves kids. She would make
a great ladies or kids horse. We have
taken her on the trail and she has done
great. She has beautiful confirmation,
and a very Quarter Horsey head. She is
extremely big in height and muscle for a
Quarter Horse, but not intimidating
because she has a very friendly face.
She would make a great horse to
learn to ride on, or to ride trails, or
just ride around. She has also gifted us
with two beautiful colts, one of which
we still have as a stallion that has won
first place in his very first halter
classes. She's never had a mean bone in
her body towards people. She takes her
vaccinations and dewormer with ease,
loads in trailers, adores being bathed
and loved on, and can't get enough of
people petting and brushing on her.
All of the horses we own are great
stock and come from wonderful
backgrounds, our only problem is we have
5 horses and only enough space for about
2 or 3. We would keep all of them if we
could, but we simply can't afford it any
longer.
